I have always loved weddings. There is just something about all the love in the air that makes me happy. In the last 6 years, I have been working in different areas of the wedding industry. I worked at a photography studio doing customer service, graphic design, and card design. I did sales at a bridal gown store. My husband owns a wedding photography & videography business, New Chapter Productions. So I have gone with him to over 40 weddings - shooting and getting wedding ideas. Back in 2005, I started a business doing freelance graphic and web design. For my own wedding, I ended up designing all my own stationary- invitations, programs, menus, thank you cards, save the dates, and even a wedding website. I got so many compliments on all my stationary that it got me thinking. I decided to start selling custom printed wedding products.
My experience with wedding photography and videography, bridal and bridesmaid gowns, and wedding stationary have given me insight into many aspects of a wedding. I have learned lots of secrets of the wedding industry and ways to save you money.
In 2008, I married my hubby Kurt. Our wedding was an absolute dream and I planned it all myself. I had so much fun doing it, and found out that I was pretty good at it, so I decided to become a wedding planner. And that’s where my story leaves off. I look forward to working with many couples to help plan their dream weddings.

Your wedding day is the day that you’ve dreamed of your whole life. I understand that you want your day to be the perfect fairytale wedding, but that you don’t want to break the bank to make it happen. After all, this is the celebration of a marriage. Your guests are coming to support you in your commitment and celebrate your love for one another. You don’t want to start off your marriage up to your ears in debt because of one day. It is your day, your money, and your wedding, so you get to spend it however you want. Don’t have certain things at your wedding just because they are expected. Every aspect of your wedding should reflect you and your fiance. Remember that you are starting a MARRIAGE – it’s not just about one day. It’s about the rest of your lives!
My goal, as a wedding planner, is to help you and your fiance create the wedding of your dreams. And I will do that while helping you stick to your budget. My specialty is in weddings with a fun DIY style. No matter your budget, your wedding will be everything you want it to be. And best of all, as I help you save money, nothing about your wedding will look “cheap”. It will be creative, unique, and personalized for you. In the months leading up to your wedding, we will work together on many fun DIY projects that will save you money while being original and memorable.
